Street photography : Lausanne, train station

Hello there!

I brought back some shots from my last time in the city this week-end. They are all from the train station in Lausanne (Switzerland).

I had some fun creating the b&w images… playing around in gimp… If you want to make b&w images in gimp or photoshop use the channel mixer. It gives you the best control on the color processing and allows you to give cool effects to your photos. For gimp users like me (go! open source 😉 ) you’ll find the channel mixer in the following menu : “colors” > “components” > “channel mixer”, enable “monochrome”, “preserve luminosity” is optional.

Have some fun fiddling about with the options!

Comment and express your critics

Thank you 😀
